A Social Profit enterprise can be for-profit or not-for-profit but they all contribute to a vision of health, happiness, peace and fun for everyone in the world.  I’d love to hear your organization’s story.   Here is a bit of mine:

I bring expertise in communications, marketing, volunteer and donor relations as well as online, major gift and grant fund raising experience from a broad range of organizations dedicated to community vitality and social change.

My eighteen year career began in rural western NC when I developed and carried out  bold and inclusive plans for engaging the whole community in conversation around the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault .

As Membership Director for the nationally recognized and awarded public radio station WNCW  88.7fm I led all aspects of donor relations, individual giving, brand management and community engagement.

As Development Director for Dogwood Alliance, I oversaw the development and execution of passion-building strategies that effectively integrated and achieved the organization’s objectives for major gifts, foundation funding, communications campaigns and donor relations.

Currently, I am an Associate with the Non-profit Consulting Team as well as Founder and Lead Strategist for Social Profit Strategies.

My resume may be viewed here.

I am contacting you due to a suggestion from Ali Schantz, my best college buddy. I have taught deaf and hard of hearing children fr 15 years and have seen educational and emotional gaps. Due to that, I have a passion for early intervention. I started a
Nonprofit for deaf/hh early intervention. I wonder if you have any suggestions regarding funding or donations? We are having a fundraiser this spring.
Thanks and good luck in your endeavors.

      Hey Allison,
did I reply to this email? How is this project going? I suggest starting to create systems that allow you to reach your audience and engage them in the stories of positive change your organization creates. I’d love to talk with you about this!
      My best,
